Now Forming a Local Food Cooperative.
Mission Health Food Coop.
We are making an effort to produce and distribute food in our local area.
Questionable food availability, quality, and safety has lead to the formation of
Mission Health Food Coop.
Due to the rising threat to our food supply from NAIS, corpratism, and fluctuating
fuel costs we believe that it is time to buy and produce homegrown foods.
Our intentions is to develop a cooperative arrangement where producers and
consumers each share in the costs and benefits.
To keep costs down and limit government interference we will offer shares in the animals.
Those wishing to buy homegrown meat will own a share in the animals.
Cost of production will determine final cost of food.
All food will be produced within an open to inspection paradigm.
We believe access to food's source will assure healthy consumables.
Please give us your thoughts and suggestions.
What do you think the animal share cost should be?
Proposed meat, Poultry, Beef, and Pork.
Are many people interested in having more say in their food origin?
